IMPORTANT RACE UPDATES

For full triathlon rules, please see www.triathlonmanitoba.ca/resources/.

Registration closes at 11:59pm, Tuesday July 5. Walk-up registrations will be accepted for Try-a-Tri, Try-a-Du and Kids of Steel events, as well as regular triathlon/duathlon events if space permits.

Race Kit pickup will take place on Friday, July 8 from 4-8pm at Registration Headquarters, which is in the north parking lot of Colert Beach, Lake Minnewasta. (Kids of Steel athletes do not have race kits to pick up.)

Parking for race day will be available on site, but due to the races there will be very limited access once the race has started. If you anticipate having to leave before the races are over, we advise parking on Fairway Drive or Meadowbrook Drive and walking in. Otherwise watch for signs on race day that will direct you to on-site parking!

Athletes intending to race to qualify for a spot at the 2023 Worlds Multisport competition in Spain should review the full qualifications and associated costs to attend on the Triathlon Canada website. If you intend to qualify, you MUST register your Expression of Intent (EOI) no later than the day before the race at this link. There is a $20 fee to register (plus tax/processing fee).

Duathletes, take note: For your race, the longer of the 2 runs will take place first (this is different than most races in Manitoba).

All athletes arriving in transition for race setup will be required to be wearing their approved, properly fitted helmet to be checked by officials. Please be prepared when you arrive in order to prevent unnecessary delays.

Race registration (sprint/standard triathlon, sprint/standard duathlon, sprint/standard cross triathlon, try-a-tri, try-a-du, relays) includes lunch. Kids of Steel registrations do not include lunch, but do include an assortment of delicious post-race food!
