Is the swim a mass start?
Yes, there will be a separate mass start for both events. The Half-Ironman/Half-Ironman Relay will start promptly at 7am. The Foilman/Foilman Relay/Duathlon will start promptly at 8am.
How many aid stations will there be and what will be available?
There are 4 aid stations on the bike course for Half-Ironman athletes and 1 aid station on the bike for Foilman athletes. There are 5 aid stations on the run course. Half-Ironman athletes will do two laps of the run course and will pass each aid station twice. Nutrition available can vary between years and races, depending upon who the sponsors are.

Where can I find a map of the race course?
Bike/Run courses are available in the course section of the web site.
How do I find out if there are entries still available and if so, how do I sign up?
Go to the REGISTRATION link on the site and if the entry page says the race is still open, there will be a link to the sign up form.
Is there a waiting list for the races when they are sold out?
No
I am unable to race. Can I transfer my entry or get a refund?
If you are unable to race due to medical reasons, a 50% refund will be given if the race directors are notified by email prior to the race.
Which Age group will I race in on race day?
All athletes will race their age as of DECEMBER 31, 2011
What is the schedule of events race week?
Please go to the schedule page by using the SCHEDULE OF EVENTS link on the site.
When can I pick up my race packet?
Refer to Schedule of Events or the Registration website (http://www.events.runningroom.com/site/?raceId=6599&contentId=20654&vrindex=0). If necessary, the packages can be picked up the morning of the race.
LATE ENTRIES
There will be no late entries accepted after the late registration deadline (July 5th, 2011 at 11:59pm)
Are disk wheels allowed?
Yes.

Yes, in accordance with Triathlon Canada wetsuit / water temperature rules.
Will I need a wetsuit? - What is the average water temperature?
The water temperature averages between 15-25 degrees C in the summer, depending on factors such as rain and recent air temperatures. The water temperature will be determined and announced prior to racing. We have a "current water temp" link on our site.
What is the timing system used for the event?

What are the cut-off times?
Half-Ironman Swim: 1 hours and 10 minutes, Swim+Bike: 6 hours, Swim+Bike+Run: 8 hours and 30 minutes
Foilman Swim: 50 minutes, Swim+Bike: 6 hours, Swim+Bike+Run: 7 hours and 30 minutes
When will the results be posted?
